Citizens' Constellations

Happiness is so precious. But what is happiness? It can be different for everyone. What we can say is that, most of the time, we are happy because of what we did. As the Dalai Lama said: ¨Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from our own actions¨. We need others as much as they need us to be happy. Learning collective intelligence is a path toward happiness.

I'm a strong believer in people and in collective intelligence. Using this platform, I intend to show what can be built and achieved by groups of people —smart and determined to help each other. How, by changing our attitudes and behaviors, we can transform negative situations into positive ones. We are much stronger when we learn and practice cooperation. It's not easy since everyone has to accept to embrace a new collective venture that will transform them as a person. Every experiment enacts us. Reality is constructed socially which gives us a huge responsibility.

Accept embracing a new collective challenge to meet our potential can make us immensely happy, knowing that we will take risks and often fail: otherwise we're not innovators. Discovering new things every day and learning from our failures is priceless. Doing this alone could be more painful than doing it with a good team, a good family or good friends. The more we cultivate an open mind — putting ourselves in another's shoes — the more we will be understood. Communication goes both ways. The more we know how to communicate and achieve success, the more confidence and benevolence will exist between us. This takes hard work: retaining such values as respect and empathy whilst building new habits like encouraging awareness and sensitivity. We're only beginning our apprenticeship of collective intelligence. The good news: we have now powerful digital tools to help us succeed.

This blog intends to support these groups by sharing inspiration, advice, tips, methods and examples. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions that may support your needs or to share your inspirational projects. Change for the best ways by acting today.

Let's build more happiness and intelligence in our life, our communities and our cities.
